In general terms, we can differentiate between traditional halogens or LED lighting. Both are totally suitable to properly illuminate the pools. However, there are substantial differences between one election or another.

If we talk about lighting in general, LED pool light is unlocking any other options thanks to its advantages, while incandescent lighting depends on the heating of a filament, LED lighting works by chips. This means greater focus durability, as well as significant energy savings.

Compared to halogen bulbs, the difference focuses on durability. Halogen lighting depends on a gas that is consumed much faster than an LED lasts. Therefore, taking into account the little price difference that exists between one option or another, and how cumbersome it is to change a spotlight in a pool, choosing LED lighting is undoubtedly the most successful purchase.

LED light types:

RGB light: red (red), green (green) and blue (blue). With the combination of these three primary colors, RGB LED Pentair globrite color led lights project light of the colors you want. You can choose the color with which you want to illuminate the environment and change as you like.

White Light: fixedly, the pool is illuminated with a normally warm white. It is a more basic option, but equally valid to give a decorative touch that will not go unnoticed.

LED with remote control: you have the power to choose the color and change it as many times as you want from a distance. You can turn on and off all the lighting or those lights that you prefer effortlessly.

LED with programming: to have everything ready at the time you want, you can program the lighting in the time zones that you prefer and with the colors that you like the most.

Turn on when night falls and turn off when dawn. Or, even, program the combination of lights that you choose to the rhythm of the musical thread with which you want to liven up the atmosphere. Simply, the best system to achieve incredible results for special events.

Underwater projectors:

Underwater projectors should be placed on the anterior wall of the main view of the pool so that we avoid glare and blur light better. You can choose a turquoise or cyan color to enhance the pool glass and we will not place more than one projector for every 20m2.

Floating lights:

Floating lights are safe, as they work with 12V batteries and some 24V batteries. There is also Hayward pool lighting, which goes to their free will so that the surface of the water is enhanced.

Those of medium-low intensity, pastel colors, earth, or neutral colors are recommended, but if you want to offer a more "chic" show you can choose a cyan color, intense blue, lime green, and etc. In this way, it will reflect on the bottom of the pool glass.
