Are You a Deliverer?

As I sit down with my second cup of coffee in hand – for the day that is – I contemplate what I am about to write to you. My hope is that it will bless your heart, that my message today will stir something deep on the inside of you to cause you to do something great for God. But, it is even better that you would allow the Lord to do a wonderful and awesome thing through you today. And not only today, everyday!

Are you a deliverer?

Think about that for a moment. Are you a deliverer? What makes you a deliverer? Or what would make you a deliverer if you are to be one? Then again could you be one? Would you want to be one?

God is a deliver. He is the Deliverer.

Take a look with me at this portion of scripture:

“I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt; I have heard their groaning and have come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt.” Acts 7:34 NKJV

God sees

Often, people think that God doesn’t care about them. They believe that He doesn’t think about them, He has forgotten them, or that He is actually punishing them for something, so He is not even listening to them. Have you ever thought that way?

But, look closely at what God said to Moses, “I have surely seen…”

Please friend, know that God sees. He sees you. He knows you. He is watching you. He thinks about you. You are always on His mind. That is because He loves you. John 3:16. He considers you. He has a plan for your life and it is a good one.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV

Yes, you are on His mind constantly. His desire is totally good toward you. Consider what He says here about you. He thinks about you and His thoughts are peaceful toward you, they are good and they are for giving you hope and a future. Friend, God is a good God.

God sees every area of your life. There is not one problem, situation, difficulty, or need that you have that our God doesn’t know about. He knows because He sees it. He sees it because He loves you and considers you to deliver you from them all, and to provide all your needs. Remember, God watched over Israel while they were in Egypt. Then the day came and He sent Moses and delivered them.

He will deliver you also. He is faithful. Can you trust Him enough to do so for you? That is the secret. You must trust Him. Hebrews 11:6

God came down

“I have seen and I have heard the afflictions of my children,” God said, “and I have come down…”

God came down to Adam. He came down to Enoch, He came down to Noah, and to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and many others. Finally, He came down in the flesh of Jesus Christ, once and for all, to deliver you and me from the bondage of sin, Satan and hell. He came down.

But did He stop there? No. He still sees, He still visits and He still delivers.

God sent deliverers

The Lord said to Moses, “I will send you…”

At the command of the Lord, Moses went and delivered Israel from their enemies, saved them from bondage and led them to the Promised Land.

Is He sending you? Would God be able to send you to someone in need to today? If God were to say to you today, “Go and set my people free.” Would you be able to do so?

“I am not a deliverer.  Send someone else.” Would you say this to Jesus?

Has He sent you? Is He sending you today? When Jesus gave commandments to go in the book of Matthew and Mark, did that command include you?

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18 – 20 NKJV

“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:15, 16 NKJV

There are many more souls waiting to be delivered. There are lives needing to be transformed. Will you go? Your world is just outside of your doors waiting to be delivered.

I hope that this word has blessed you. God bless you.

In Christ and with His love,

Pastor David Ramiah
