What are you seeking?

What are you seeking for? Are you seeking with total focus? Do you know exactly what you are seeking? Because what you are seeking for is what you will find.

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?”  Matthew 7: 7-11  KJV

I was on my way to Brampton on Sunday morning to pick up some people for church, and the Lord said to me, “What you are seeking for, you will find.” I mulled that over in my mind, and repeated it over and over allowing Holy Spirit to clarify it for me. As I did so, I began to understand that the Lord wanted me to have total focus on what I want. I need to know exactly what I want.

Do I want a tall building, a round one, or a square one? Do I need a red car or a white one? And what model do I want? Do I want a paid staff or a volunteer staff? What kind of congregation do I wish for? Where do I want to be? What do I want in life? I must be completely focused on what I am seeking for, and to do that I have to know specifically what I want.

What are you seeking? “What you are seeking, you will find.”
