God's perfect peace

Sometimes trials and temptations arrive at our door step, and the battle begins. You might be upset with God for bringing temptation or a test your way. Or you may be angry that you have to go through another test or trial. Why doesn’t God leave you alone! Why doesn’t he pick on someone else who is stronger than you? How come it is always you?
Well the truth is that temptation doesn’t come from the Lord. He will allow it so that you can see your weakness and strive to overcome it. But, He isn’t the tempter.
It is the same with trials and testing. The Lord allows you to go through trials and tests so as to make you stronger and wiser, and to bring you into the place where you lack nothing.
“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect and complete work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:2 – 4
In that time of trial, testing, and waiting, you must hold on to your faith! And in the middle of the swarm of bees flying around in your head: the turmoil and confusion of whatever you are going through, you will find God’s perfect peace. It is right in the center of all the voices, the questions, the sorrow and pain, anguish, worry and fear. Once you find it – it is there- trust it, hold on to it, and God will bring you through to the very end.
“Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, ‘I am tempted by God’; for God can not be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.” James 1:12, 13 NKJV

“…But he who trusts in the Lord will be prospered.” Proverbs 28:25

“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.” Luke 12:32 NKJV

God bless you!
